Change of Pace

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

A brief from NFTS:Change of Pace is a project based on art and culture, and is for a 'new tv channel to air on ITV (*not on tv, or part of a real programme) I created a 15 seconds sting to showcase the channel.

Design Approach:
Design is meant to be organic with an industrialised style, which uses minimalistic factors for upscale purposes. The simple colour palette is representative of a design style which is punchy and tells a story of super constructs across five continents.
SuperStruct logo has been applied to a number of mock-ups, for example: VOD, football shirts, advertisements, etc.

Design Style:
Sharp edges imagined in industrial design Smooth, organic forms Clean, sleek colour with minimal selection Blueprints underpinning design All about the aesthetics Form over function World Wide encompassing (5 Continents) inclusive

ACROSS FIVE CONTINENTS

SuperStruct tv focuses on an idea which gives the viewer a sneak peek into global superstructures. In theory the programme would focus on one continent per term (season), dependant on where it is filmed in.
Programme timetable:
Similar to, that of Grand Designs - Super Struct tv takes a look at architecture. Primarily focused on large wonder superstructures around the world. Constructs that are otherwise classified as 'mammoth designs', and would go into the tidy detailing that makes these structures so great.
Examples or focal points:
  • Underwater tunnels
  • Above ground tunnels
  • Big hotels and apartments, examples: Burge in Dubai,
  • The Shard/ Gherkin/ Tower Bridge in (UK), etc.
  • AI infrastructure (technology advances in military design, aero/ dyno, etc.

Olympic (rings) circles:
The Olympic rings are representative of the world's continents; therefore, I assimilated that same logic with Super Struct tv design - instead of rings I used circles.
Each colour represents a continent Dynamic design elements Minimalistic Easily transferrable (applications) practically endless
