looking at creating humanistic forms, icons for the 'ionite' logo, and playing with shapes - monochromatic.
Simplifying the humanistic forms, 2 colour use (black and white), solid shapes - distorting them too.
The idea that adding a striking yellow to it for accent and effect. Still monochromatic though. Changing orientation and using negative colour space for effect.
Design Approach:
The design had a name - now all it needed was a 'mark' of some sort to carry the brands' name. I was looking at creating something simple, that can be the pillar to the construction of the logo as a finished piece. Thought process said to create an iconic mark that will be memorable. This pillar had to in some way represent a figure (humanistic form), convey the idea of endurance, speed, athleticism energy, power, etc., all that, while being part of the brand-identity for a unifying environmental problem.

Simple is sometimes better. When I researched the successful logos of the world, this was a biggie across all corners of the design.

Two main design features: Orange/ Navy Blue colour, humanistic form? A race track of some sort? The slant upwards representing forwardness? progression?
My main idea - to create an iconic logo, which is instantly recognisable. I have to relate this logo to the sports industry and my Electrolytes product. Two forces coming together, i.e., human and sports drink?
The natural progression of the logo - is bleak; the colour Gray stands out like a sore thumb.T The humanistic form is someone confused. his calls for a rethink fo the logo design. I have a few more ideas.

Between the dev of this logo piece, I reached my final outcome. The final as can be noted is an amalgamation of the very first logo, and this one. Instead of the letter "i" just being that, I added a lightning bolt figure to the word. This gave rise to the letter "i" taking on a humanistic form as well as it not being so bland. This letter in particular also acts as an 'Olympic-Torch' in simplest form.
